Mleo release lively new single “Ridiculous”

Over the past few years indie pop has experienced a surge in popularity, and Los Angeles based band Mleo (pronounced muh-lee-oh) will contribute to the genres continual rise. Their latest single “Ridiculous” off of their debut record Sunken City is a bright and glimmering track that sounds like a song of the summer, rather than a track released during the winter months. Fronted by front woman Audrey Reed who has a gorgeous and delicate voice, while also sounding similar to Echosmith’s main vocalist Sydney Sierota, she fronts the band with complete confidence, drawing in listeners from the minute the song starts. While the group is still a fairly new act to come onto the music scene, as they got their start in 2012, Mleo already sound like seasoned professionals despite their young age. While they still have plenty of time to develop their skills, they won’t be losing their footing any time soon, as they know what works when writing a hit song.
