Last year, the Beastie Boys were awarded $1.7 million in their copyright infringment case against Monster Energy Drink, when the group claimed the company used one of their songs without permission in a promotional ad. According to Billboard, the group is now seeking an additional $2.4 million to cover legal fees and costs.
