Over a period of two weeks, Marcus Mumford (Mumford and Sons), Jim James (My Morning Jacket), Elvis Costello, and others went into the studio to record the music they had written for Bob Dylan lyrics that did not have music written for them. Last night they all appeared on Jimmy Fallon, to perform “Lost On The River”, from the album Lost on the River: The New Basement Tapes. You can watch the performance here.
