British-Iranian artist Hiatus has released the music video for his latest single “Your Place Is Empty” featuring an appearance by Malahat. Channeling his culture and heritage through his music since 2005, Hiatus’ upcoming album Distancer takes listeners on a journey through Iran while connecting us to Hiatus’ (real name Cyrus Shahrad) story of discovering his father’s record collection when his father was working as a journalist in Iran.
Distancer will be out on April 9th, via Lucky Thunder.
